SANTIAGO’S WORK RESPONDS TO AN INQUIRY ON THE STRUCTURES, ASSEMBLAGES AND DYNAMICS THAT EVIDENCE THE STATE OF TRANSITIVITY AND PRECARIOUSNESS AND APPEAL TO A STATE OF TEMPORAL INDETERMINATION. THE WORKS TRANSFORM, DETERMINE, MODIFY AND INTERFERE WITH THE SPACES IN WHICH THEY OPERATE; THEY AFFECT THE WAY THE SPECTATOR OCCUPIES AND PERCEIVES THE PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL SPACE WHERE THE WORK IS LOCATED.
LIVES AND WORKS IN LONDON AND BOGOTÁ. CURRENTLY IS COURSING AN MA IN SCULPTURE AT THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART, UK (2015–2017). HE STUDIED ART AT THE ANDES UNIVERSITY, COLOMBIA (2004–2009) AND IN SAO PAULO UNIVERSITY, BRAZIL (2006–2007).
